You just met five families of values. Pick any of them — a number, a word, a yes/no — the problem is the same.
A value floating on its own has no home and no address.
With no address, the program has no way to ask for it again later.
So the moment the next step happens, the value is gone — like writing on water.
This is why "we will just make it again later" is rarely a safe plan — by then there may be nothing left to find.
The fix is simple, and it is the heart of this whole module: every value we care about needs a home.
That home is a box — and meeting the box is the very next step.
